Look, Manda! Look, everybody! I got a journal myself an it's mine an Doug help me make it an now I can talk to people on the computer! An there's a picture of me look Doug an I maked it ourselves but there was no furry button so I'm just brown.

I can't read good yet so Doug put a voice cognition program on the computer so I can talk at it and it writes stuff down for me. But I can read a bit, an Shan is teaching me more. This last part is something she teach me to write.

A big smile! I like that. And I like the journals they're fun only they're quiet now. People need to say things so I can make the computer read them to me!

It's probably quiet because people are either taking summer classes, or enjoying being able to sleep in for summer vacation. :)

Sleeping in is stupid. Morningtime is the best part of the day! It smells good, and the birdies make nice noise, and the sun is up! People should go bed at bedtime like I do so they're not tired in the morning. Then they could all like morningtime.

I think Manda would like to sleep in but she doesn't anymore because I wake up so early.

Nope, no more sleeping in for me. ;) But I don't mind, since I get more done this way and that means more time playing with you instead of studying. Tho' if I've had to stay up very late working, I tend to be a bit harder to wake up.

And morning time is our time because nobody else is up and I got you all to myself. I like that. And you always wake up if I tickle your feets or lick you!

If anyone says I squeal like a little girl when you do either of those, I'll deny it, of course. ;) I'm done with my study for the day - story time, I think. I've got another of those stories from China to read you now I've finished the translation.

Sometimes people, espically teenagers or adults cannot go to bed at bedtime. I do not sleep well some nights, which is why I am sometimes up when you get up very early to watch cartoons, and why I take naps like you do.

Amanda is not the only person who does not like to get up in the morning. Doug is as bad.

Why can't they go to sleep? I can always go to sleep. Except when I have nightmares then I have to climb in with Manda but then I can go to sleep okay because she's there. If you have nightmares I will sleep with you if you like because Manda says having someone furry to snuggle with helps.

A smile for you!

Sometimes people's powers make it hard for them to sleep, and sometimes things they remember make it hard to sleep. And sometimes people just cannot sleep and they do not know why. No matter what, it is called insomnia. I usually do not have nightmares anymore, and when I do, usually Doug sleeps over to help, which is part of why his pajamas are here so much.

Insomnia sounds like no fun. I hope I never have that. But I give you hugs if you want them anytime if Doug is not there to help and you need hugs.
