Look, Manda! Look, everybody! I got a journal myself an it's mine an Doug help me make it an now I can talk to people on the computer! An there's a picture of me look Doug an I maked it ourselves but there was no furry button so I'm just brown.

I can't read good yet so Doug put a voice cognition program on the computer so I can talk at it and it writes stuff down for me. But I can read a bit, an Shan is teaching me more. This last part is something she teach me to write.

I give Doug a cookie! It had chocolate chips it was a good cookie. An I always ask if I don't understand something. But sometimes people get embarrassed when I ask some stuff so I save that for you Manda because you always answer even when you get all red.

Can't get better than a chocolate chip cookie. *grins* And I know, you're good that way. And you'ev even stopped asking me the hard questions when I'm drinking something, especially after the mess I made last time.

I like my shirt its happy. Talking on the computer is fun too! An yours is a picture of you making the face you make when I did something funny by accident an you are trying not to laugh.

Well, I'm glad you wait until I've put the cup down now, at least. *grins* Less hard on the nose, especially when I'm drinking tea.

And that's exactly right, it's a smiley face sideways. The bendy eye is like when someone winks. So ;) is a text shortcut for someone having a little joke with you, see? And :) is someone being happy.

And talking on the computer can be a lot of fun. Just remember what Amanda said about coming to talk to someone if you read something you don't understand. We're all very good about explaining things... well, most of the time.

I like laughing you face too. I like my picture because its cartoony I like cartoons!

I will always ask if I don't understand I promise. An I can ask right on the computer because I can make comments in posts that are confusing an ask what they mean. I like that because people don't have to be right there to ask I can ask on the computer an people will see from other places in the mansion that is very cool.

Did you get to see everyone else's silly pictures yet? Amanda has one too, I think. Doug used some of my drawings to do a April Fool's joke on everyone last year.

I learning a lot! I have a book I practice my letters in they are getting real good! I know lots of words from Nate but it takes a while to make them all work.

I like your picture. But mine is toonier! I like my cartoon picture.

I think we can maybe try fire, if we talk to Moira and make sure you won't get hurt. As long as you're very, very careful, okay? I like my monkeygirl in one piece.

Doug likes playing with the different kinds of writing for those pictures. A lot of his pictures for his journal have writing on them too.
