Swimming is fun! I like to swim and play in the water and I am getting good and my head hardly went under at all!

But I want to know what a Harrypotter is. Manda doesn't like it and says it's bad magic stuff and goes all scowly so I thought I wouldn't ask her any more about it and Dani says she doesn't care but if it is bad magic why does everyone else like it? It looks like a storybook, not a magic!

My moodstar is sleepy. That is because I was swimming today and now I'm tired.

Maybe we could! But I do not know I have to ask Manda she might not like me to read them if she thinks they are bad.

It's not the story exactly that's bad, it's just... it makes magic seem like a good thing. And it's not. I know, I do magic, but if I'd had the choice, I wouldn't have chosen to be a witch. I mean, it makes me special and all, but it's made for a hell of a lot of trouble in my life, and I'd rather you didn't get caught up in it any more than you have. If it hadn't been for the magic, the thing with Patches wouldn't have happened.

But I shouldn't be stopping you from enjoying something a bunch of other people like, just 'cause of my personal issues with it. If you want to have someone help you read the Harry Potter books, than that's okay, but just remember, magic is hard. There's always a price, and there's no nifty wizard's school to make things easier. There's just you, and the magic, and if you're lucky someone who's been there before.

It's just make believe. Nothing more. Definitely nothing like what I do.
